INTERSTATE PARK - ST. CROIX FALLS, WISCONSIN
Interstate State Park is the place to be!  It is important to note that there is both a Minnesota side and a Wisconsin side to the park.  We will be having both the ceremony + reception on the WISCONSIN side.

Interstate Park is about one hour northeast of the Twin Cities.  Wisconsin State Parks require a vehicle admission (Day Pass or Annual Vehicle Sticker) to drive into the park.  Follow this link for further details.

Plan on this day/weekend being a little more rustic/outdoorsy than your average wedding and reception.  Our reception will be held outdoors at a picnic shelter down by the river.  We will have no electricity.  The closest toilets are the type that don't flush.  The average high temperature for September is 71 degrees F and the average low is 48.  There will be mosquitoes.

Feel free to bring any Yard Games you might have--we'll have plenty of space and time for playing.  We'll have picnic tables and some chairs, but it wouldn't hurt to bring a lawn chair.

Guests that are staying at Interstate Park on Saturday night are expected to be at their campsite by 11pm, and those not staying are required to leave the park by 11pm.

No Pets Policy...there are no pets allowed at the group camp site and ceremony + reception areas.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
We would love to see our friends and family members wearing their Sunday's Best!  But again - keep it comfortable and simple.

wear YELLOWs + GREYs + NAVYs ... if you would like!  (I know matching the wedding guests to the wedding party is a bit trendy/hipster - but it sure would be cool in photos!)

There may be a fall chill in the air - Bring a sweater.  We may have wedding crashers - Mosquitos will most likely be attending the wedding.  Rain Plan - Bring an umbrella!

PARKING
There is a fair amount of parking by the picnic shelters down by the river but not so much by the group campsite for those that will be camping.  If you are staying at hotels with other family members or friends - please car pool if at all possible.  Parking is limited!

Bring a BICYCLE!
a) it's a great way to get around the park,
b) parking for cars near the wedding and reception will be a bit limited
c) it'll make for a good vehicle to find your way back to your tent after one too many Old Fashioned's.
d) there will be a few "good" bike mechanics on site - no worries if you have bike issues.  But tune-up your bikes before the festivities... the groom will be a bit too busy to fix your bike!

FRIDAY - SEPTEMBER 20th
If you are around on Friday, we would gladly accept your assistance in preparing for our big day.  If you are around on Friday night, we are going to be hangin' out 'round the campfire and having some smore's.  Join Us!
